The Indian patent office granted 480 Patents for the month of July, 2014. The Top three consisted of Qualcomm Incorporated, GM Global Technology Operations, Inc Samsung R& D Institute India Bangalore Private Limited with a count of 11, 10 and 8 patents respectively. The table below shows the top five Companies that received the maximum number of patents for the month of July, 2014.

Out of those 480 applications grated, 78% applications were National phase applications and 28% were National Applications. Among the four IP offices in India, Delhi Office Issues 45 % of Applications, followed with Chennai 26%, Kolkata 17% and Mumbai 12%.
